When you think of superheroes, there are reluctant chosen ones and there are born-naturals. Launched out of Dallas, 0odaredevil crash-lands on the chaotic rap scene, radiating an innate aura of authenticity and unbridled freedom — quick to establish himself as the latter. The Texas avatar rises out of the dusty wreckage with an obvious work ethic to terraform his corner of rap to his liking. He jokingly introduces himself as “Ew Da Red Devil” before playfully confirming himself to be “Double O Daredevil”. He is a spirit of many names: Double-Zero, Two-Zero, Daredevil, Low, Diablo — the list goes on. It is unclear whether the daredevil docks from Hell or an alien planet, but he has dropped from on high to rebuild his world here for us to see.
On the 2025 EP SKYDIVIN, Oodaredevil’s not alone in his mission. jetsonmade is an FL studio “hi-hat god” who has empowered DaBaby, 21 Savage, Playboi Carti, and other rap chart-toppers with his signature southern beats. The prod wizard jumpstarted his newest partnership with Oodaredevil by dropping the bubbly lead single “AITE”. Together, they are fired up to capture that adrenaline high and blow up the whole game.
“This project was spontaneous. Like a time capsule. Five of the songs were recorded in two days, and the last one we made when we were just linking up to take pictures.” – jetsonmade

Oodaredevil’s origin story reflects the story of a generation. The rapper himself is shockingly introverted. Every quote drips from his mouth with a down-to-earth delivery — more like an old friend rather than any grand media-trained personality — but he hides behind the Zoom curtain like the Wizard of Oz. The duo prefers to let their music speak for itself with its supernatural in-your-face bounce.
Ike Nabuife: Have you guys ever been skydiving?
Oodaredevil: Hell, no.
jetsonmade: I did that iFly. That shit weak.
Oodaredevil, laughing: It was weak?
jetsonmade: That shit was weak. Like, I ain’t gonna say it was weak. Like, it was cool, but it was just … I don’t gotta get on no plane to do that… I ain’t really trying to risk my life for enjoyment anyway. Like, I don’t like roller coasters and all that type of shit. That’s what the music is for… Niggas be like, “Bro, this so outer space,” but we ain’t never been to space. You know what I’m saying?
Ike Nabuife: In a sense, we’re all in space.
jetsonmade: Exactly. So it’s like, however you want to look at that shit.
While he is very much a child of the internet with a sound that can only be concocted by someone who grew up on fan-made chopped-n-screwed remixes and infamous SoundCloud leaks, the south still made him who he is:
“My pops was an artist. My mom; she went to church, so she was in a choir. So was I. And you know, my uncle was an artist from Houston. So music is just… family. Family-embedded. They’ll say my music describes me. Real… unorthodox… indescribable.” – Oodaredevil
Oodaredevil is as much a student of UGK’s Bun B and Pimp C or Young Thug as he is of Lunchbox. Fans try to brand this new generation into retroactive boxes like “jerk” or — in Daredevil’s case — “new jazz” and “surf”, but the duo is focused on playing by their own rules and being themselves. The world they are carefully building is lawless. One minute you find yourself basking in the luxury of the opening track “Cielo” or the carbonated “Get Geeked” with Zukenee, and the next you are dancing with the baby-voiced feature Cochise on “WYWO.”

SKYDIVIN required an insanely unique chemistry to happen. Across the fluid 8-track run, the dynamic emcee/producer duo perfect this balance between intentionality/planning and their inborn improvisation. The two are in equilibrium, feeding off and into each other to engineer this intoxicatingly fun ride. The EP sees Diablo and jetson embodying that emcee-dj synergy critical to rap music as a community. Too often, you see beefs arise over transactional relationships in hip hop where artists squabble over payment, credit, and ownership of a beat. These two skirt all of that with their catalytic dynamic that they have been tempering privately since early 2023.
While the title implies this world is meteorically coming about overnight, the duo is staunch about how they were rapping and making beats “before it was cool” — jetsonmade first taking to a DAW at 12 and music just being in Daredevil’s blood. They laud the entertainingness of PlaqueBoyMax’s In the Booth sessions that have been a nexus for Internet People playlist regulars, but jetson claims the spirit of SKYDIVIN comes from trusting the creative process and protecting that intimacy. What they are doing takes time, and they are making sure to garner a fanbase that appreciates that.
“When it come to my music, for real, I’m real protective of that shit.” -jetsonmade
“They ain’t lying, boy… Everything should be on the artist’s terms.” – Oodaredevil
There are obvious established factions in the underground: the dustier grandchildren of sLUms on MIKE’s 10k militia and the extended family on billy woods’ Backwoodz Studios, the bratty skaters of 1c fresh off Roblox and dropping one-liners over jerk beats, and most famously, you see the sparkling radioactive acolytes of rage living in the nuclear fallout of Whole Lotta Red. Don’t get misguided by the 00, though. Before the AWGE vamp even conjured 0PIUM, Daredevil was working hard with his team “Our Own” to found his own territory.
In these uncharted lands, he’s not alone. Daredevil and Zukenee are frontrunners in this new frontier who have tamed the ‘aux’ together. He’s planning to “end racism” as he trades bars with longtime colleague TalinWya — most recently on the grail “TED BUNDY”. The Texas native even touches down in New York for the melodic sexy drill track “Turn It Up” with first-time collaborator R2R MOE. The showboat is already causing tremors in the game on his recent standout features on Bashfortheworld’s new album Migo in America. Scrolling on TikTok or IG reels, you’re likely to hear any of them soundtracking viral edits in the vein of DudePerfect or Lethal Shooter and fitpics/thirst traps, but they are quickly assembling a real-life rap sect of Third Space-deprived youth hungry for a thrill — proud to be first in line for their wild ride.
Daredevil and jetsonmade don’t seem to be taking their foot off the gas anytime soon. jetson foreshadows “SKYDIVIN is just a little taste test to be honest. An appetizer.” Daredeveil adds: “Absolutely. We still got a full album coming. This was just eight songs. A lot more is on the way.” This emotional rollercoaster only gave us a glimpse into Oodaredevil’s anarchic world, and fresh off the heels of the April project, we already have the fiery “KING HASHTAG” where he further proves that no matter how wild the music gets, he always stays in control. 2025 will be the year he makes us understand how much he’s truly capable of.
