Beverly Hills, CA – October 17, 2025 — Rapidly rising artist Molly Santana celebrated the release of her Molly and Her Week of Wonders (Deluxe) with an exclusive red-carpet premiere for its self-directed namesake short film.

The event brought together friends, collaborators, and members of the media including Emwell, 42Ceo, BabyTalksMusic, Jared Muros, and Dre Goldi for an early screening of the cinematic companion piece to Santana’s newest project.

The short film, starring and creatively directed by Molly Santana, takes inspiration from the 1970 Czech cult classic Valerie and Her Week of Wonders. The film was shot on vintage 1980’s film stock to match its nostalgic and timeless inspiration. Combining fantasy, surrealism, and emotional realism, it captures a week of self-discovery through sound, style, and storytelling.

Following the screening, Santana participated in an audience Q&A where she spoke about the creative process and the meaning behind the film’s structure:

“Each day of the week is ruled by a planet. I built the film so the energy of that planet ruled that day’s story. Every single shot was intentional — there’s a plot within the plot.” -Molly Santana

Santana also discussed the film’s central themes of womanhood and individuality with SoundFynd:

“I think as I get older. I just realized what is important to me. The messages I push are important, and the message I’m pushing with this piece is female empowerment.” -Molly Santana

After the screening and Q&A, Molly Santana returned to the entrance of the theater to gather and speak with over a hundred attendees lingering after the premiere to meet her. She admirably spent a good deal of time greeting and taking photos with fans before leaving the venue.

The Molly and Her Week of Wonders deluxe arrived Friday, October 17 — featuring new tracks expanding on the original release’s exploration of self-expression, modern girlhood, and artistic experimentation.

With over 40 million total streams and recent tours alongside Ski Mask the Slump God and Don Toliver, Molly Santana continues to solidify her place within the new generation of music. Named one of Complex’s 25 Rappers to Watch, she blends animated yet relatable vocals, conceptual storytelling, and cutting-edge and genre-bending production that, in conjunction, keep her fans coming back for more every time.
